As the title says, it has been a while! My last blog post was in November 2019, and we all know what happened shortly after that... The break I had two life changes in one. As well as a global pandemic, I had my first child in 2020. Becoming a parent changes everything and weirdly, you have a lot less time to play escape rooms! I had my second child in 2023, so even less time for escape rooms. The return I'm not yet back to the dizzying heights of 2019, and probably never will be, but in 2025 my escape room career resumed (with many thanks to the wonder of grandparents). I love a good graph, so here's 'My life in escape rooms': A themed alternative My primary love for escape rooms lies in the theming and immersion. I get pure escapism from disappearing to another world for an hour and diving into the puzzles and mysteries. I've also always loved theme parks and with a young family, we've all found a common love for the rides, escapism and experiences they offer...
